Why a Medellín business needs a real English site
Medellín's own data points the same way. In its labor-demand dashboard for February 2025, the city's Economic Development Observatory reports that bilingual global services, data analysis and software development are the profiles with the highest hiring demand in Medellín (Alcaldía de Medellín, “Caracterización del Mercado”: medellin.gov.co/es/secretaria-desarrollo-economico/observatorio-de-desarrollo-economico/visores-de-datos/tableros/caracterizacion-del-mercado). That's context, not a promise, but it describes a city that increasingly sells to the rest of the world. If your customers, partners or investors read English first, your website has to work for them without a translator: English pages written for that reader, policies and booking steps that make sense to someone who doesn't know how things work in Colombia, and a way to reach you that doesn't require Spanish.
