New store with a 3D view
Medellín, ColombiaOnline store
Ahumadores Santo Carbón
An online store for barrel smokers made in Colombia, in six sizes and in 430 steel or 304 stainless steel, with bundles and accessories. It ships free anywhere in Colombia and shows reference prices in US dollars for buyers abroad.
What we did
Design and development of the store in Spanish and English: a catalog by size and material, a size comparison, bundles and accessories, cart and secure checkout, Google reviews on every product page, and an admin panel for products, orders, coupons and content. Plus a custom 3D view of every smoker.

Custom-built feature
Every smoker can be explored in 3D before you buy
A view built for this store: shoppers turn the barrel, zoom in and look inside, on desktop or on their phone. Each size shows its own dimensions, and the product page still loads fast because the view only opens when someone asks for it.

A tour operator offering tours and experiences in Medellín and the Antioquia region. The site lists tours by destination in English and Spanish and helps travelers plan their trip.
What we did
End-to-end design and development: tour catalog, admin panel for pages and news, an AI travel assistant that hands the chat off to WhatsApp, consent-aware analytics, and a migration from the old site with permanent redirects.

A Colombian civil engineering and construction firm working on roads, buildings, public spaces, oil and gas, energy and sanitation. The site shows completed and ongoing projects, clients and news, in Spanish and English.
What we did
Design and development of the corporate site: a page for each business unit, a project explorer with filters by unit, location and status, a contact form that saves every message and alerts the company inbox, and an admin panel where the team manages projects, clients, news and copy.

MediTic IPS
A healthcare provider in Medellín offering in-person care at its clinic, telehealth and home visits, lab and diagnostic services, executive checkups, and services for other providers such as specialist consults and ECG and Holter readings.
What we did
Design and development of the site in Spanish and English: services and care options, online appointment requests, an AI assistant that guides patients without diagnosing, Google reviews, a blog and the institutional information Colombian providers publish (REPS registration, Supersalud oversight and patient feedback), all managed from an admin panel.

Is Next.js right for your project?

It isn’t always the best choice. Here’s what we check before recommending it.

A good fit if…

Your site needs custom features next to the content: bookings, payments, chat, your own admin panel or a CRM integration.
A big share of your customers come from Google or paid campaigns, and every second of mobile load time matters.
You need two or more languages, each with its own URLs and properly flagged for search engines.
You’d rather not rely on a stack of third-party plugins to keep the site running.

Consider something else if…

You just need a blog or a simple brochure site, and your team already knows WordPress.
You want to launch a standard online store with a catalog, cart and checkout, with no custom development.
What you need is an app behind a login that doesn’t have to rank on Google: plain React will do.

Next.js FAQ

Next.js or WordPress: which one should I choose?

If your site is mostly content and your team already runs WordPress, WordPress is usually enough. Next.js pays off when you need custom features (bookings, payments, chat, integrations), proper multilingual support, or speed that a plugin-heavy theme can’t reach. After the assessment we recommend one option and explain why.

When do you advise against Next.js?

When a simple site or a standard store can be handled by WordPress and WooCommerce, or when what you need is an internal app behind a login, where React alone is enough. Custom-building something that already exists off the shelf costs more without giving you more.

How do I edit content if the site isn’t on WordPress?

With an admin panel built for your site: you sign in and update copy, images, FAQs and blog posts. Changes go live without touching code or waiting for a developer.

Can I move my current site to Next.js without losing my Google rankings?

No one can guarantee rankings, but the risk can be kept low: we keep the URLs that work or 301-redirect them one by one, and we compare titles, descriptions, headings and structured data before and after the switch. That’s how we migrated Maoke Travel’s site.

Where is a Next.js site hosted?

Our client sites run on Vercel, the company behind Next.js, with servers in multiple regions and SSL included. If your company requires another provider, Next.js also runs on your own Node.js server.

Can you work with a team in the US?

Yes. We work remotely from Colombia, which stays on UTC−5 all year: the same as US Eastern time in winter and Central time in summer, so our working day overlaps yours.
