Live case in Bogotá

Bogotá web design for schools, nonprofits and service organizations

If you run a school, a foundation or a local office in Bogotá from abroad, the site has to work for Colombian families and clients first: Spanish copy, local payment options and admissions that make sense here. We work remotely from Colombia, on Bogotá time.

A Bogotá school site you can visit today

Open it on your phone and follow what a parent does: check tuition, take the tour, pay, or sign in to the school platform.

    Liceo del Caribe

A bilingual school in the Puente Aranda district. The site answers what families ask before enrolling: admissions, tuition, schedules and a virtual tour of the campus.

    What we did

Custom design and development of the school's site: admissions, tuition and schedules, virtual tour, access to online payments, sign-in links for students and parents, a contact form and WhatsApp. Enrollment runs on a third-party platform linked from the site.

What a Colombian audience expects that a US-style site often misses

A site designed at headquarters and translated later tends to miss local habits. Colombian families and clients expect Spanish written for them, not a literal translation; payment buttons with local options, like the payment links Liceo del Caribe offers its parents; and a WhatsApp button right next to the contact form. They also expect the details a local office actually handles: neighborhood, schedules, requirements and who to call. We build for that reader first, then add the English pages your head office or international families need.

Working with us from outside Colombia

We work remotely from Colombia, on UTC−5 year-round. Bogotá is also part of our story.

Roots in Bogotá

Before User Media we were Crece Virtual, and before that Dimaginet, a Bogotá digital agency whose website ran from 2009 to 2018. Today the work is remote: video calls, progress you can review online, and decisions in writing.

How we run an institutional project

  1. 1

Talk to the people who field questions

Admissions, billing, communications: each team tells us what people ask and what still happens by phone.

  2. 2

    Map existing platforms

We list the payment, enrollment and grading tools you already use so the site links to them instead of replacing what works.

  3. 3

    Design and build

Mobile first, written for the first-time visitor, with copy your local team can update.

  4. 4

    Walk every task before launch

We go through each task the way a parent or client would: forms, payment links and sign-ins, on phone and desktop.

We've worked with Crece Virtual on several web design projects for our Barranquilla operation. Their team demonstrated a solid command of both WordPress and React, adapting to the specific needs of each project based on our technical and functional requirements. What we value most is the quality of the codebase they deliver. Each project has a clean and well-organized structure, which has greatly facilitated updates and the addition of new features when needed. The technical documentation they provide is clear and useful for our internal team. Communication throughout the entire process was smooth and professional.

Working with Crece Virtual transformed how we acquire clients. From the outset, they understood our business and guided us through everything: digital strategy, website architecture, and domain selection. The WordPress site, with a custom theme and widgets created in Elementor, turned out exactly as we needed: fast, clear, and designed to make requesting quotes effortless. Thanks to technical SEO, link building, and Google Ads campaigns in Medellín, our quote requests increased several times over, stabilizing at nearly 500% higher than at the beginning. The automation that sends leads from WhatsApp to Google Sheets, complete with all the data and UTM parameters, allows us to better measure sales and repeat purchases. Furthermore, their hosting, domain, and Google Workspace services have been reliable, and whenever we need support, they're always there with quick and clear answers.

We have been working with Crece Virtual for several months now, and it has been a great experience. They built our website in Next.js, and it turned out super fast and professional. The best part is that they didn't leave us on our own after delivery: every month they make updates and improvements, and when we need something urgently, they always respond very quickly. Their support has been impeccable. In addition to the website, they manage our Google Ads campaigns and SEO. Honestly, everything has worked very well. The campaigns bring in good leads and have us well positioned on Google and Bing. They are very professional but also very approachable, always explaining everything clearly. I recommend them without hesitation.

We hired Crece Virtual to redesign our corporate website and improve our SEO. The result completely exceeded our expectations. The design is elegant, professional, and conveys the seriousness we needed as an environmental project. Navigation is intuitive, and our clients can easily find the information they're looking for. Regarding SEO and ads, we now appear in the top Google results for the searches that matter to us. The team was incredibly professional, met every deadline, and was always available to answer questions. It's clear they know what they're doing.

We're currently working with the Crece Virtual team on both web design and Google Ads campaigns. The site looks very professional, and the SEM campaigns are consistently generating high-quality leads. What I value most is their transparency: they explain everything clearly, send detailed reports, and are always optimizing to improve results. They're experts at what they do.

Bogotá web design FAQ

Can you take on a Bogotá project if we're based abroad?

Yes. We work remotely from Colombia on Bogotá time, so your local staff and our team share the same workday, and your head office can join calls too. Liceo del Caribe, in Puente Aranda, is a Bogotá project we delivered this way.

Have you worked with schools?

Yes. Liceo del Caribe's site carries our credit in its footer and covers admissions, tuition, schedules, a virtual tour, online payments and sign-ins for students and parents. You can open it and see how each part works.

Can the site take payments with Colombian methods?

It can link to the payment options you already use, as Liceo del Caribe does with its payment links, or integrate a payment gateway if you need to charge on the site itself. The right choice depends on volume and how your finance team reconciles payments.

Should the site be in Spanish, English or both?

For a Bogotá audience, Spanish comes first. Add English pages when international families, donors or your head office need them, written for that reader rather than machine-translated.

Do you only build sites for schools?

No. Our published Bogotá case is a school, but we also build for service companies, retailers and tech firms. Our web design page shows cases from other industries and cities.

Need a site for your Bogotá school or office?

Tell us which tasks your local team still handles by phone and which platforms you use. We'll propose the pages you need and what to link, without replacing what already works.
