Remote team on Pacific-friendly hours

California SEO in English and Spanish, run remotely on your schedule

California is a bilingual market, and in many industries a highly competitive one. We research how your customers search in English and Spanish, who you’re up against in your niche and which pages you actually need. We don’t have published California case studies yet, so we show you the method and measure it against your own data.

Our afternoons are your mornings

Colombia stays on UTC−5 all year, which puts us 3 hours ahead of Pacific time in winter and 2 hours ahead in summer. A 9:00 a.m. call in Los Angeles is noon or 11:00 a.m. for us. So we keep your mornings for calls and joint reviews, and do the heads-down work during our hours that don’t overlap with yours: when you start your day, yesterday’s changes can be waiting for your review.

Bilingual in California doesn’t always mean Spanish

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 44.4% of Californians age 5 and older speak a language other than English at home: 28.3% speak Spanish, and 10.0% speak an Asian or Pacific Island language (ACS 2020–2024, table DP02: data.census.gov/table/ACSDP5Y2024.DP02?g=0400000US06). We work in English and Spanish. If a large share of your customers searches in another language, we’ll tell you up front, because that content needs native writers in that language.

What makes SEO hard in California

These are market problems, not single-page problems, which is why we look at them before writing anything:

  • In many industries you’re up against companies from across the state and national brands at the same time.

  • Customers in Los Angeles, San Diego or the Bay Area may use different words, while your site speaks to all of them the same way.

  • Your Spanish version exists, but it was written for another country instead of for Californians.

  • Nobody checked what kind of pages Google ranks for your service before yours were built.

How we work with a California team

  1. 1

    Niche research

We study the search results for your industry in the cities you care about and note which page types win: guides, comparisons, service pages or directories.

  2. 2

    Language architecture

We decide which pages run in English, which in Spanish and how they connect, without duplicating what doesn’t need it.

  3. 3

    Reviews in your morning

We walk you through progress during your morning hours, with changes ready on a staging site.

  4. 4

    Measurement

We track impressions, clicks and leads by language and by page, in accounts you own.

We've worked with Crece Virtual on several web design projects for our Barranquilla operation. Their team demonstrated a solid command of both WordPress and React, adapting to the specific needs of each project based on our technical and functional requirements. What we value most is the quality of the codebase they deliver. Each project has a clean and well-organized structure, which has greatly facilitated updates and the addition of new features when needed. The technical documentation they provide is clear and useful for our internal team. Communication throughout the entire process was smooth and professional.

Working with Crece Virtual transformed how we acquire clients. From the outset, they understood our business and guided us through everything: digital strategy, website architecture, and domain selection. The WordPress site, with a custom theme and widgets created in Elementor, turned out exactly as we needed: fast, clear, and designed to make requesting quotes effortless. Thanks to technical SEO, link building, and Google Ads campaigns in Medellín, our quote requests increased several times over, stabilizing at nearly 500% higher than at the beginning. The automation that sends leads from WhatsApp to Google Sheets, complete with all the data and UTM parameters, allows us to better measure sales and repeat purchases. Furthermore, their hosting, domain, and Google Workspace services have been reliable, and whenever we need support, they're always there with quick and clear answers.

We have been working with Crece Virtual for several months now, and it has been a great experience. They built our website in Next.js, and it turned out super fast and professional. The best part is that they didn't leave us on our own after delivery: every month they make updates and improvements, and when we need something urgently, they always respond very quickly. Their support has been impeccable. In addition to the website, they manage our Google Ads campaigns and SEO. Honestly, everything has worked very well. The campaigns bring in good leads and have us well positioned on Google and Bing. They are very professional but also very approachable, always explaining everything clearly. I recommend them without hesitation.

Regarding SEO and ads, we now appear in the top Google results for the searches that matter to us. California SEO FAQ

Do you have SEO case studies in California?

No. We haven’t published a California SEO case yet, and we won’t pass off another market’s results as local. What we can show you are live sites that credit us in other markets, plus an audit of your own site.

How do you coordinate on Pacific time?

Calls happen in your morning, which lands between our mid-morning and afternoon, and production work happens in our non-overlapping hours. Every meeting starts with something new to review, and nobody has to dial in at dawn.

How is bilingual SEO different from translating the site?

Translation reuses the English keywords; bilingual SEO researches each language on its own. Spanish speakers may use a different term, a different search intent, or need a different landing page altogether, and that only surfaces when the research starts in Spanish.

Can you build pages for Los Angeles, San Diego or the Bay Area?

Yes, when you genuinely serve those areas and have something specific to say about each: staff, timing, services or a different customer. Without that, one strong statewide page usually does more than several near-identical city pages.

Do we need a physical presence in California to show up on Google Maps?

Yes. Google only allows a Business Profile for a business with a location customers can visit, or one that serves customers where they are. If you sell into California from another state or online, the work focuses on your website and content.
